The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) obliges you to treat employee disabilities consistently whatever their cause, and whether they are work-related or non-occupational. That means you should have a formal process in place to follow whenever there’s an absence.
Genex will work with your HR and EHS teams, as well as other key stakeholders, to create a project plan. This will include devising the return-to-work policy and procedure development, a physical demands analysis and job analysis for job titles and identifying any temporary transitional task opportunities.
Genex will then write a formal return-to-work program and complete all PDA/JA, collaborating with your stakeholders until all the documents are approved. All the reports will be provided digitally and can be cataloged in a cloud-based job bank. The timeframe for the project will follow the estimate Genex provided following the initial consultation.
